Sarah E. Welch — Founder & Principal
Sarah Welch has spent over 25 years in technology, including 15 years leading product organizations in enterprise SaaS. She has directed portfolios exceeding $1B in revenue, built and scaled global product teams across three continents, led organizations through acquisitions and platform transformations, and served on an AI compliance board guiding responsible deployment at scale. The through-line in all of it: the organizations that win are the ones where product leaders stop managing roadmaps and start managing the full system — the cross-functional partnerships that determine whether a product actually succeeds.
That conviction is the foundation of Signal & Crux, and the subject of her forthcoming book. Whole Product Partnership makes the case that product health is not determined by what gets shipped — it's determined by the quality of the partnerships between the people who build it, sell it, support it, and renew it. The book is in development. The first chapter is available to read now.
She is currently writing her first screenplay — horror, if you're curious — and is a vocalist in a School of Rock band whose setlist runs from Led Zeppelin to Aretha Franklin depending on the season. She describes herself as an analytical creative, and means it as a precise description rather than a charming contradiction.
She is based in the Boulder, Colorado area and works with clients remotely and in person.
